Gender Reveal

Originally I was going to put blue and pink paint/glue in the balloons (2 blue and 3 pink) and let the kids take turns popping them on white paper.  The color that came up the most would be the correct gender.  Instead Nathan decided to put just one color in but it didn't seem like the glue was going to show up very well so we stuffed the balloons with construction paper as well.  It still didn't show up very well but it was enough to get the point across.

It's a girl!!!

The kids were a little disappointed because they wanted to even things out but they have come around to the idea and are excited for a baby sister!

Dyer was a bit dramatic but he is still bitter that McKinley was a girl.  He still claims that we messed up the system (boy, girl, boy, girl) so McKinley should have been a boy.  He was hoping this time it would be a boy.  He says we need to keep trying until we get another boy.  Sorry buddy but that isn't going to happen!

Dyer came into the house and started making a "man cave" in the garage.  I guess he is already feeling there is too much estrogen in our home.  Little does he know that it is just going to get worse when his sisters become teenagers.  Heaven help us all when that time comes!  I might move into the garage with him.
