Our Florida Home

My sister wanted me to post pictures of our home in Florida...Here you go Jac!

Outside front

Coming in through the front door.  You can go straight down the hall into the living room or go up the stairs.

living room (the Florida aka sun room is straight ahead off to the left)

Off to the left is the kitchen and dining room

We have a great view of the nature preserve in our backyard.

If you look closely (almost center of picture) you'll see a log.  This is where we saw the alligator.

Zoomed in of above picture.  Normally we just have tons of turtles sun bathing on the log.

Backyard

Screened in patio (it's the bottom right side of the above picture)

Basement door inside screened in patio.
This is where our guests will stay.

Kitchen (a stove will eventually go in but we haven't gotten it yet).

Dinning area and guest bedroom.

Guest bedroom

This was what our basement looked like before we remodeled.  One very long room.  Normally all the stuff wasn't shoved to one end but this was the day before they started working downstairs and everything had to be out of the way or mostly out of the way.  We had a leak about 10 days after we moved in so that is why we have the hole in the ceiling.

Before picture looking the other direction.

We put up a wall, door, and closet for the guest suite.

Off the kitchen is the bathroom.

Before it had two doors and was just a storage closet.  We replaced the two doors for one pocket door.

We put a bathroom in half of the storage closet.

Behind the door is the rest of the storage closet.

Back upstairs to the main floor....

On the other side of the living room are the bedrooms.

Hallway to bedrooms.
Girls room to the right.

I redid the kids rooms after we moved in.  The girls decided they wanted Frozen.  The kids helped me make the snowflakes that are hanging from the ceiling.

Blair's bed (top bunk)

Blakely's bed (bottom bunk)

The girls now have a Frozen canvas picture of Elsa and Anna above their dresser.

Grandpa Layne got the girls Elsa wall stickers for Christmas.

The kids also helped me make the snow falling from the ceiling.  I can't get a very great picture of this but it looks better in person.

Back in the hallway....the bathroom is off to the left.

Go down the longer hallway you come to the master bedroom (right) and the boys bedroom (straight).

Master bedroom (the door leads to the bathroom/closet).

Boys room
The boys decided they wanted a Star Wars bedroom.

Easton's bed (top bunk)

Dyer's bed (bottom bunk)

I tired to take a picture of the whole wall but the window in the middle made it way too dark to see anything.  This is to the right of the window.

Left of the window.  Grandpa Layne gave the boys Star Wars wall stickers.

Back to the living room... go back towards the front door and go up the stairs.
