Halloween

For Halloween this year we dressed up as Avengers!

Black Widow, Spider Girl, Hulk, Black Panther

 Easton as Black Panther

Blair as Black Widow

Dyer as Hulk

 Blakely as Spider Girl

I was supposed to be Scarlet Witch but the jacket that we ordered online never came (it must have been a scam).  Anyways, since Nathan was Tony Stark aka Iron man and I was pregnant we found an Iron man baby girl shirt.  I guess I was Iron Man's girlfriend (Piper).

The kids had a harvest festival at school.  I think we were one of the only ones who dressed up.  I guess we will know next year to not dress up.

Blakely went on a hay ride.

The whole crew dressed up for Halloween.
Piper and baby Iron Girl (me and baby), Wasp (Valerie), Black Panther (Easton), Hulk (Dyer), Black Widow (Blair), Spider Girl (Blakely), and Tony Stark aka Iron Man (Nathan)

Blakely turns 3!

Blakely turned 3 on September 19th!  She woke up and saw the birthday decorations and was so excited!  She then ran outside.  I was a little confused why she would go outside but pretty soon I found out why...When she came back inside she was very sad and asked, "Where is my bouncy house?!?"  In case you don't remember, the older kids had a water slide bouncy house for their birthday party and apparently Blakely thought she was getting one too!  Oops!  I had no idea 1) she would remember and 2) that she wanted one.  Luckily, I was quick on my toes and told her I was taking her to the bouncy house.  We might not be doing big birthday parties for the older kids now because Blakely expects the same thing for her birthday.  Little does she know or understand that the big kids get it because they share a birthday party.  After I told Blakely that we were going to the bouncy house for her birthday she was so excited and exclaimed, "Yay!  All my friends are going to be there!"  Shoot!!!  I'm really striking out now!  I thought I could get away with not having a friend birthday party for her because I thought she was too little to know or care.  Boy was I wrong!  I was just praying that some kids would be there and she would think they were her friends.  When we showed up there were two little kids but one left right as we were getting there and the second one left about two minutes later.  Seriously!?!  We were there about 1 1/2 hours by ourselves and I was about ready to leave  when a bunch of kids showed up.  Blakely just lit up and yelled, "All my friends came!"  Thank goodness that satisfied her and she was as happy as a clam!  Next birthday I better have a birthday party planned.

Dyer soccer

Dyer did really well playing defense this year.  He actually went after the ball!  He wasn't as aggressive on offense but he would get the ball when it came to him on defense.

Haha!  This was not uncommon for Dyer to entertain himself.

Dyer decided to not play indoor this year and I'm guessing he probably won't be playing outdoor either.  Maybe he'll want to play football like Easton.  I have him signed up for swim with Blakely.  It will start later this month.

Blair soccer

Blair had a great year too!  She is definitely more of an offensive player.  She enjoys playing forward over any of the other positions.  She ended up scoring 3 goals!  Too bad I only got one on film and even that one is hard to see!

Blair's goal!  It is really hard to see.

Blair will be playing indoor this year too!  It should be fun to watch her again this year.

Easton soccer

I did a really bad job taking pictures/videos this year.  It seemed like I either forgot my camera or when I actually remembered it the battery was low and would die on me.  I did take more pictures and videos of Easton but they weren't that great...

Easton had a great year and improved a lot.  His coach was more of a defensive coach which worked out well for Easton because Easton is more of a defensive player.  He learned a lot from his coach.  His team didn't win many games (probably because they really didn't have anyone upfront that could score) but they came a long way from the beginning of the year.  The last game of the regular season they had to play the best team of the league.  Most of the other teams in the league got beat by this team by at least 5 goals.  Some as much as 8.  Easton's team only gave up 2 goals!

Easton even played goalie twice during the season!  I only saw him once and I was a nervous wreck!  I'm not going to lie.  I wasn't sure how well he would do because he is so small and the goal seems so big, but he actually did really well.  He had quite a few saves and only gave up one goal.

Easton is going to play indoor soccer again this year but he told me he wants to try football next year instead of soccer.  I'm a little nervous because it is tackle football.  I won't be sad if he changes his mind between now and then but we will see.
