Dyer

We were at the movies and Dyer desperately wanted his picture taken as a troll.  He was very excited about this movie.

Dyer was clearly upset that he was getting another sister, which I thought was funny since he seems to prefer to play with his sisters over his brother.  In fact it is not uncommon for Dyer to dress up in dresses with his sisters.  I'm not sure if I should be concerned about this, especially since he calls himself Nina when he does this?!?  I'm hoping this is just a phase and if I don't make a big deal about it, it will eventually fade away.  We shall see...

I took the boys on a date to fat daddys.  It's similar to Chuck E Cheese only more expensive.  Dyer sure had fun on the motorcycle of course.

Bedtime

This is what happened one night when the girls were supposed to be in bed sleeping...

Every inch of Blakely's hair was covered in every single hair bow the girls own.

1st day of school

The kids started school pretty early this year on August 10th!

Easton 4th grade (gifted program)

Blair 2nd grade

Dyer Kindergarten

Blakely wanted in on the action too!

Science Center

I took the kids to the Science Center.  It was a little on the small side but that worked out really great since I took all the kids by myself and I was able to keep an eye on them fairly easily.
Easton and Blair

Dyer and Blakely

Blakely lucked out and was able to see and touch most of the reptiles.  One of the workers came in and started to take them out and show Blakely.  Too bad the rest of the kids weren't there to enjoy it.

Baby #5

This was the announcement we sent out to our family and friends...

Baby Kelsey is due February 28th!  Right now as I write this we only have 8 more weeks to go!  I really should take a picture of my belly.  I'm huge!

At about 16 weeks Nathan snuck me in to take a look at what we were having.  We knew about 3 days before we finally had a small window to take a quick picture to announce the gender.

It's a GIRL!!!

The girls were of course very happy!  Easton was a little disappointed but Dyer was devastated!  He cried for at least 45 minutes!  I think in his mind it had to be a boy because of our boy/girl pattern.  He eventually came around to the idea of having another sister.  In fact I think he is the most excited now!  He cuddles and rubs my tummy at least once a day and asks when his baby sister is coming.

Easton playing guitar

This was back in July after only 4 months playing with his new teacher here in Florida.  He switched from acoustic guitar to electric.  Here's a sneak peak of what he's been playing:

End of the Summer reading program carnival

The kids sure had fun at the carnival the library put on for the end of the summer reading program.  I only snapped a couple pictures though because it was so crowded.

Wildlife zoological park

I thought it would be fun to take the kids to the zoological park, but boy was I wrong.  I was very disappointed with the whole thing.  It took us 40 minutes to get there.  It was extremely hot and humid and the gnats/bugs were horrible!  It was way over priced for what was there.  I think we went around the whole thing in less than 10 minutes!  We did see some cool animals really close, but I felt really bad for them because their cages were so small.  The kids had fun feeding the farm animals though.  After we were there for about 20 minutes it down poured on us.  We decided it was time to go so we drove 40 minutes back home.

Blakely loved feeding the animals

Splash Pad

Valerie came for another visit and we took the kids to the splash pad on base.
