Nathan got to speak for a couple of TV/Radio stations at the cutting of the ribbon for the mammo bus.

Originally Nathan wanted to run a 1/2 marathon but ended up running a 10K. He asked all the kids if they wanted to run with him. Surprisingly Easton, Blair, and KK decided to run. Easton and Blair ran a 5K and KK ran a mile.
Nathan, Easton and Blair took off at the same time. KK had to wait a little longer.
Easton came in first

I think KK came in 5th overall but was 2nd for girls.

The Brunsons were in charge of Bridgeview (sacrament for one of the local nursing homes). They asked us to join them. Easton and Eli blessed the sacrament, Dyer and Reed passed the Sacrament, Blair played the piano and Gracen led the music, Nathan and either Jaron or Eli gave the talks, and all the other kids sang a primary song. Eden got sick that morning so I stayed home with her since I didn't really have anything to do.
Dyer turned 14!
My mom gave me puzzles and I stayed up way too late finishing this one.
I took Blakely and KK to a free fishing clinic. They provided everything! I honestly didn't think the girls would last that long but they stayed the whole time and didn't want to stop. They are looking forward to next years free day!

Swim lessons for Eden!
Not a fan! It didn't help that we were having a cold spell so it was freezing!
I guess she takes after me and doesn't like getting any part of her head wet! That kind of doesn't work for swim though...She definitely got an ab workout when she was supposed to be doing back floats and she probably got a kink in her neck when she was supposed to be doing front floats. She was very determined to not get her head in the water!
Earlier I mentioned that the youth in our ward had a service auction to earn money for camp. Our kids decided they wanted to put on a mini "school of rock" camp. I thought it was a good idea but I guess others in our ward didn't think it was super exciting. Dyer was the only one who had someone sign up. I eventually signed KK up so Blair had someone to work with.

Dyer had 5 individual lessons with her and then we had band practice for two Saturdays (the last Saturday was also the concert!)

We went to Gpa Layne and Gma Karla's cabin for a couple days. My mom and Alan drove up for a day to hang out with us.
Eden and KK were playing around in the side by side and must have released the emergency break. They started rolling backwards and ended up in the creek! So scary!

Nathan was taking the girls on a daddy/daughter date but KK was left at home.
KK: Dad left me and I'm miserable!
I asked Nathan about it and I guess Eden wanted it to just be her and dad but as soon as they got to Burger King (?) she changed her mind and wanted KK to be there! Nathan had to make it up to KK later and bring her out on her own daddy/daughter date!
