We went to Disney World back in November but they were setting up all their Christmas decorations while we were there. We spent most of the first day at Hollywood Studios and then went to Epcot in the evening. I wasn't all that impressed with Epcot but maybe it was because we went there during the Wine Festival and it was super crazy with a lot of college age kids! Unfortunately, the frozen ride was almost a 2 hours wait so we promised the kids we would come back the following day. Little did we know that the wait the second day was even worse. We waited in line for over 2 hours and to make things even more interesting the ride broke down. We were already an hour and 45 minutes invested in this ride so we held out hoping the ride would get fixed quickly. Honestly I think the ride breaking down worked to our advantage because they weren't allowing anymore fast riders through and a lot of people gave up and left. The ride was down for about 20 minutes but as soon as it came back up we were on the ride within 5 minutes.
We spent most of the second day at Magic Kingdom. Blakely was so excited that she could ride Splash Mountain. I didn't realize that she was tall enough to ride that ride. I felt a little bad when I realized that she could have rode the Star Wars ride and the Tower of Terror (if she wanted to) the day before. Oh well, I think she had fun hanging out with me and visiting some of the characters.
I guess Easton's too cool for the magic carpet ride.
Peter Pan ride!
This ride was a nightmare. This was Dyer's pick and there was no way we could convince him to pick another ride. I'm pretty sure we spent over 2 1/2 hours waiting for this ride. It really didn't help that they let over half as many fast riders through the line than those in the long line.
We had a fun time!
