The kids decided to try indoor soccer at a local church. They have prayer and devotionals after every practice. I was a little concerned at first since it wasn't our church (obviously) but it ended up being a good experience for the kids.
They announce every team before each game. The kids love the blow up tunnel.
Not sure about the dance?!? moves but he ended up with a nice save.
Easton ended up scoring a goal this year but of course it had to be the one game Nathan and I were out of town.
Easton also got nominated by his coach for the "Most Christ Like Award" He didn't end up getting the league award but his coach had some really nice things to say about Easton.
"One player stands above the rest, Easton Kelsey. He naturally engages adults and kids alike. Easton encourages, cheers, and supports both friend and foe without prompting, reminder, or hesitation. I have been impressed on multiple occasions as Easton stops in the middle of play to assist another injured or fallen player, and then waits before continuing play in order to make sure that he/she is ready and able to proceed. When it is time to slow down and honor God in prayer and devotion, Easton is a ready and enthusiastic volunteer. His sweet, sincere prayers are evidence of the inner workings of his heart. On top of all of this, he is humble and quiet in spirit. It is my privilege to have this young man call me coach."
